E.J. Mellow - The Dreamer

Jump right in the Sea of Blue...

I've had some doubts in the beginning but I returned to the right-swooning-track. Everytime Molly snapped back in her reality, I felt a slap on my face. I totally got lost in her Dreamland. That's probably owning to Devlin, personification of the man of her dreams. I suddenly popped into a Disney movie—not that I'd mind—of alternative universes and a dark sky full of shooting stars. Where you could wish for anything.
Where your dreams come true...

Sea of Hope

Aside from the smoldering make-out-moments and the gorgeous-cupcake Dev, Molly realises there's more behind the scenes than we are able to sense while we're sleeping. She happens to create amazing yet awe-inspiring things with her mind while she's living her second life in Dreamland. Plus she gets two semi-gods drooling after her. Not fair. Let alone her double agency. Does she feel right kissing more than one man even if it's in her subconscious when we, mundane human beings, have hard time kissing one?

Anyway, I am much more thrilled about this dreamworld even if I waited a bunch of chapters the story to unfold. I'm looking forward to the intergalactic combat against the sleek bogeymen fought on the Battlefield of Dreams.

P.S.
I keep dreading what will happen to Dev and Molly, as at the moment their thing or whatever it is doesn't bode well. Sorry Jared, but I am hard-core Dev-team-cheerleader so you need to warm the bench. No hard feelings.

"I miss a man I only see in my sleep, his annoying confidence and wry smile, and yes, I even miss the way he can all too easily piss me off. I miss someone who doesn’t exist."

After-the-thrill

I must admit I 'm hoping in the occurrence of a lightning strike so that I could have some friggin' fantastic abilities of creating clothes out of nothing. I have always wanted to be a superhero. And if it's not that, I'll always make do with a double-Devon.
